But what? It almost looks like it was supposed to have wings. Or at least one side appears to.You seem to be hinting at an alternate idea...or am I misinterpreting?

If this isn't a "manitou stone", I don't know what it is. The rectangular portion at the top, the head, is clearly the work of human hands. Any ideas?
